Getting Back to Basics
It’s been a pretty crazy couple of weeks for me … lots and lots to do. My schedule is usually pretty laid-back and relaxed, but as always, when it rains it pours, and even the longest of long days have been flying by, I’ve been so busy.
In all of this, my mind has become really cluttered and I decided to do something about it.
I decided to get back to basics, and clear my mind and get back to clarity and focus with perhaps the best of the best of all success books, Think and Grow Rich by the great Napoleon Hill.
I read this book over and over and over again, along with Dr. Hill’s many other books, but like most people who become successful, I haven’t picked it up in a few years and I find myself paying the price with a lack of focus and determination, at least not as intense as when I was trying to “make it.”
So, with that in mind, I have an excellent cigar queued up and my copy of Think and Grow Rich in hand, ready to be devoured by me once again!

Another classic you’ll want to view is Earl Nightingale’s “The Strangest Secret” (which you can find on video with a quick search.) These two programs almost need to be scheduled in every business owners calendar for annual readings. Thanks for reminding me to read “Think and Grow Rich” once again.

Life is circles, I always say. ;] It’s important to review the “basic” materials as you evolve to Higher Levels in Life.
With your current perspective, things that didn’t make sense five years ago now make sense!
Great program. I’ve implemented your ideas in my approach, and just got my podcasting started!

Frank Hi
Got your book recently, and I’m putting into practice the principles you speak about (I need to, cold calling is not my forte!).
You spoke about Napoleon Hill in your blog today… I actually wrote a book called Millionaire Upgrade, which pays homage to Napoleon Hill. Please be my guest and download the MP3 spoken word version of it at http://www.freemillionaireupgradebook.com .
I’ll put a copy of my latest book in the post to you (Profit Upgrade), I’d like you to have that too.
Best wishes, Richard
Great blog very informative
