As you work with podcasts over time, you’ll undoubtedly find your favorite software, equipment, and so on. For a microphone I recommend a Logitech USB headset, typically available for around $50 in office supply stores (don’t buy the cheaper $20 ones as the quality is inadequate).
Since readers will be using various computer platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.), I’ve decided to include these third-party tutorials rather than the specific steps I use on my Mac.
