My new favorite use for Twitter

I’m going to be honest here: I’m not the world’s biggest Twitter fan. Sure, it’s a nice way to supplement my email lists, but it’s not a replacement for them. It’s an easy way to share my opinions or break news to my followers, but it sure doesn’t replace my blogs. Or, again, those trusty email lists, the real lifeblood of any internet marketing business.

Until now, my favorite use of Twitter has been to make new friends. It may seem unlikely, but I’ve met quite a few people through Twitter, including some fellow internet marketers and business owners. Those casual Twitter exchanges have turned into both friendships and lucrative joint venture partnerships.
